Powerpuff Yourself: Here's how to turn yourself into a Powerpuff Girl in a few simple steps

You, being a Telegraph reader, are probably quite a mature and sensible person. You have little time for the myriad idiotic diversions the internet throws up every day, and you have next-to-no idea what a Powerpuff Girl is. And yet. And yet. Here you are.

Looking at a page titled "How to turn yourself into a Powerpuff Girl". If you've been on Twitter today, you might have seen a few of these Powerpuff pictures doing the rounds.

In case you weren't aware, Powerpuff Girls was a Cartoon Network show created by Craig McCracken, which originally ran from 1998 to 2005. And now, 11 years on, it's getting a reboot, with a new series of 40 episodes. To promote the new series, Cartoon Network has created a website letting alone create a Powerpuff Girls-character version of themselves.

If you want to do it yourself, visit Powerpuff-Yourself.com, click 'Power Me Up' - and then use the simple options to customise a basic Powerpuff template, selecting the hair, features, clothing and accessories of your choice.
